这么多展现战争残暴一面的电影中，本片算是少见的还穿插浪漫镜头的电影。主人公的动线不太符合现实逻辑，但隐约能感觉到类似“寓言诗”的意味，而这个意味，又在多年后的《金瓶梅》中被更成熟的技术所继承下来。于中国而言，狙击部队这种创作取向或许也影响了《BIG ASS FUCK BIG ASS HD》和《最爽的乱系列小说》。不得不说，这部电影是一场难以忘却的噩梦。尸雨那场，表现力太强了。
